  4. Have any of you read the following book

  6. Great Mambo Chicken and Transhuman Condition.
  7.  
  8. A must for most science fiction readers. Its by Ed Regis. The title may put you
  9. off.... Don't let it. It's fascinating.
  10.  
  11. Without giving to much away it looks at cryonics and how SF writers wanted and
  12. manoeuvered science to accept the probability of immortality. The author has
  13. done a lot of research and has known many of the infamous SF authors.
  14. Surprisingly a large number of them belonged to L5 society wanting to be
  15. cryonically frozen. Walt Disney eat your heart out!It's not heavy going the
  16. author has presented a rather humourous approach to the subject whilst still
  17. being scientifically correct.

  19. A lot of the great SF authors books have been referenced with inside
  20. information in some cases as to why the authors wrote a particular book.
